FAQ
Do you shoot destination weddings?
We prefer them! We are trying to branch out and strictly shoot elopements/destinations and intimate courthouse type ceremonies. We have fallen in love with the idea of storytelling and capturing your special day in a cinematic way.
Will there be a second shooter?
If you want there to be! We have second shooters we hire to assist and capture from different point of views. We just need a few months notice if thats something you are interested in adding to your wedding package.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
You sure can! We always make sure we leave open a little bit of space to ensure we get all the shots we wanted. We prefer to know ahead of time if you want to extend your session but if not thats ok too! We just adjust the balance owed and deal with the details afterwards.
What kind of gear do you use?
We currently use and love our sony A7iii. We also have our Canon Rebel 7D with various lenses for a different perspective and as a back up.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You do not although we recommend doing so. We use a reputable professional printing company that can get you the most beautiful finished products hanging on your walls within a weeks time.
How long is turn around time for receiving final album?
Depending on time of year ( busy season etc) regular sessions can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. As for weddings, it can take anywhere from 3-12 weeks.
What happens if I can't make my shoot or cancel my event?
Although we understand life happens and we are empathetic to all situations, deposits are insurance to the photographer so unfortunately all deposits made are non-refundable..BUT depending on the situation and discretion of the photographer credit for a new session date may be possible.
What would you call your style of shooting and how you do things?
We like to consider ourselves expressionists! No, we don't distort reality but we rather capture it imperfectly. We don't pose. We either capture things in the moment or we simply prompt. We love organic. Will you get 100 finished edits that are all super clear, crisp and edited perfectly? Nope. Photography is art and if thats something you do not agree with we simply are not it for you!
